‘North Londonshire’ website showcases the opportunities for jobs, housing and investment in North Northamptonshire

18 March 2010

As part of the widely-publicised ‘North Londonshire’ advertising campaign to attract investors and residents to North Northamptonshire, a website has been launched which showcases the attractiveness of Corby, Kettering, Rushden, Wellingborough and the surrounding area.

Using state-of-art web design, which includes a fully embedded 3D ‘fly-through’ model, the public can visit www.northlondonshire.com to learn more about what the area offers in terms of improved quality of living, housing for families, better schools, career-enhancing job opportunities and investment potential for blue-chip companies.

The North Londonshire campaign, which has been created by the North Northants Development Company (NNDC), is being used to highlight the area’s proximity and connectivity to the Capital as more people look to move away from London in search of more space, a better work-life balance and an improved quality of living.

An area of great natural beauty, North Northamptonshire is less than an hour from the Capital – with direct trains to London St Pancras – and the affordability of homes in the area has made the area increasingly popular for commuters.

Simon Evans, Chief Executive of North Northants Development Company, said:
“The North Londonshire campaign will help to raise awareness of the many benefits that North Northamptonshire provides for those looking for more spacious housing, exciting job opportunities, better schools and access to beautiful rural countryside, all within easy access of London. We have already seen increased interest from people from outside the County and the North Londonshire website will be a valuable tool in providing people who are interested in moving here with more information as to what the area has to offer.”

When the campaign is launched the North Londonshire website will include full sites for each of the individual towns, and a series of advertisements will appear in London Underground stations and adverts on radio stations in the Capital will be aired.
