Property projects from across the East Midlands region have been submitted to compete for the most prestigious prize in the UK property industry, the RICS Awards 2011.
Representing a full spectrum of organisations and projects worldwide, 236 entrants were received nationally this year, ranging from small schemes built by the vision and persistence of one person, to multi-million pound budget, globally recognised developments.
The RICS Awards consists of four categories: Building conservation, Regeneration, Sustainability and Community benefit.
Projects in the region continue to have a strong showing in the RICS East Midlands Awards 2011. Of the 20 East Midlands' shortlisted projects, one was in Building Conservation, seven were in Sustainability, six were in Community benefit and six were in Regeneration.
