Construction of Corby Enterprise Centre On Schedule

23 June 2010

Development of the £8.3m Corby Enterprise Centre reached a significant milestone on 16th June, when partners behind the project met on site to celebrate the ‘topping out’ of this flagship business centre for Corby.

Construction of the Enterprise Centre began in December 2009 following the appointment of Rushden-based contractors Kier Marriot, which has confirmed that the project is on schedule for completion in September 2010.

The Corby Enterprise Centre is being built on the site of Priors Hall Park, the major urban extension to the north east of Corby, and adjacent to the new £30m Corby Business Academy.

NNDC is working in partnership with the Bela Partnership, a joint venture between Bee Bee Developments and the Lagan Group, to develop the Enterprise Centre, which has been designed by the Milton Keynes-based DLA Architects.

The development will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses to work within 32,000 sq ft of high quality, flexible office and workshop space.
