Market Street will be pedestrianised and the appearance, layout and lighting of the street will be improved, making it more welcoming to shoppers and will encourage an outdoor eating culture within the town. Through traffic will be prevented but residents, businesses and deliveries will have access through a key-pad controlled bollard. Access for Blue-Badge holders will be between 10am and 12 noon. Access to Sheep Street will be available, at all times, from Northampton Road. Rules will prevent skateboarding and speeding by cyclists.
