Kettering is one of the fastest growing towns in the Country. The next stage of major improvements has now started, focusing on the Horsemarket, Market Street, Sheep Street and Northampton Road. This follows the completion of the award winning Market Place and the emergence of the new Restaurant Quarter.
Around £10 million is currently being invested in Kettering’s town centre. As a Partnership, we are committed to attracting funding from outside of the Borough and minimising the cost to local council taxpayers.
The planned improvements to Kettering town centre will help attract more shoppers and retailers to the town. The works aim to complement the rich heritage of the town and make it a distinctive and fun place to be.
The ongoing work will include work to Horsemarket, Market Place and the restaurants, Sheep Street and Northampton Road / Northfield Avenue and will make for a better shopping experience in 2011.
