Who We Are
North Northants Development Company (NNDC) is the Local Delivery Vehicle committed to bringing forward the necessary infrastructure improvements to in turn create the right environment for investment, new jobs and significant housing growth.
NNDC was created in May 2006 by the merger of Catalyst Corby (Urban Regeneration Company) and the North Northants Together partnership.
We work closely with the North Northants Joint Planning Unit (JPU) and Joint Planning Committee (JPC), which in June 2008 adopted the North Northamptonshire Core Spatial Strategy - the first strategic plan to be agreed in the East Midlands and the first in the UK to be prepared by a number of councils working together in the form of a Joint Planning Unit.
NNDC is supported by the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG), the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), the four local authorities of Corby, East Northamptonshire, Kettering and Wellingborough as well as Northamptonshire County Council.
